Powered by StorageCraft, the backup software allows Holman’s to backup files and folders, applications, and operating system information from your onsite server to a NAS product (Network-Attached Storage), and then copy this encrypted backup image from your NAS to Holman’s NAS data center. All of the activity is monitored by Holman’s N-Central application, which allows immediate notified of any interruptions in the backup scenario.
While traditional data backup requires manual (or scheduled) backing-up after files are edited, Holman’s backup services automates the process of moving changes you make to your original copy to your “backup” copy. The user can instantly access the duplicate file on the second system should the first disk fail, making it a vital component of a disaster recovery plan.
